Ikin Design projects are ZERO WASTE available in 4 generations.
The first generation, Single Origin products are cut from whole pieces of fabric.
The second generation products are made from Patchwork squares of the off-cuts from the single origin fabrics and come in various colour ways.
The third generation products are smaller items of various shapes which are made from the off-cuts of the off-cuts and are therefore lovely randomly patterned pieces in various multi colours.
By the time I get to the fourth generation, all that is left are the scraps which are unusable for anything but padding or stuffing. So, I make stuffed Dolls using every scrap retrieved from the off cuts. It takes a lot of this specially made stuffing to make just one doll, so these are a limited range.
